How are you all? We´re all fine, we´ve finished making videos for project and sent to Portugal. We had lot of fun with making Comenius videos. We hope you like it.
Our oldest students have successfully done exam Monitor and now they are accepted to high schools.
The students of 9th grade visited Concentration Camp Auschwitz (Oswiencim) in Poland two weeks ago. It was built during Second World War by Nazi Germany and it was the largest of the German concentration camps. The camp was very scare to see how Jews and other people were suffering. Then students went to city Krakow. We could go shopping and go to city tour. At 17pm we met on Krakow square and we went to our bus. The travelling from Krakow to Trencin takes 5 hours.
On 22th April was World Day Of Earth. Our students were picking up a rubbish from earth and hepld our environment.
World Championship Hockey 2011 is tooking place in Slovakia – in two the biggest cities Bratislava and Košice. All of Slovaks are exited for it. We are having crossed fingers for our team!

In Trencin was built new swimming pool. It has a just small problem – there is no water! It is really embarassing for us, but we hope the problem will solve. Because we want to swim to our new swimmig pool this summer! Even German newspaper SPIEGEL have written about it!

We are really looking forward to Italy meeting! The students who will go to Italy are Petra Sládecková and Ján Stano. Both of them are students of the last 9th grade, they are learning English for 7years.
Ján, his friends called him Jano, is a smart student - his favourite subjects are Maths, Chemistry and Biology. Jano is 15 years old. He is very intersted to computers. He plays the violin in Trencin folk group TRENCAN.
Petra, her friends called her Peta, likes English and Slovak language. She plays the flute for 8 years. She is 15 years old, she likes drawing.
After summer schools in Trenčín started school year on 2nd September except us. We had one week extra holidays, because of a big reconstrucion of our school.

We have new windows, doors, floors, hall and corridors, playground, radiators, computer classes and gym.

Hello everybody
Hello everybody!
How are you? We are all fine.
The days we spent with you in Spain were unforgetable for all of us. We had a great time with you and we miss you a lot.
We are making a new videos for topics of the Project to Finland. Later we will publish the videos here in our blog. We are looking forward for time we will spend in Finland on 12th to 16th January. We have chosen students for meeting in Raahe and they are very happy to make friends with your students and see your culture and nature. For Finland weather they have bought big sweaters, socks, hats and shawls. :)
